黒澤明監督の役割について：

監督の役割には、俳優の指導、撮影、録音、美術監督、音楽、編集、そして吹き替えとサウンドミキシングが含まれます。これらはそれぞれ独立した仕事と考えることもできますが、私はそれらを独立したものとは考えていません。監督という名称のもとで、これらすべてが融合していると考えています。
