フェイブルマンズはスピルバーグの中でもベスト3に入る作品である。しかしセシルビーデミルが撮ったカットが一番いい。スクリーンの中に観客を招き入れるいう思想が明確だからだ。スピルバーグのカッティングは映画の自己目的化の究極だ。
